Information Retrieved from Mixpanel

When you configure a Mixpanel project in the app, Event Flow retrieves event data directly from Mixpanel's servers using the credentials you provide. This data includes:

• Event names and properties
• Timestamps
• User identifiers (distinct IDs)
• Geographic data (if available in your Mixpanel events)

This data is retrieved directly from Mixpanel's API and cached locally on your device for improved performance.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

1. Provide Core Functionality: Display your Mixpanel events and analytics data
2. Improve Performance: Cache data locally to reduce API calls and improve app responsiveness
3. Personalize Experience: Remember your preferences (language, theme, active project)

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

All sensitive information, including your Mixpanel credentials, is stored locally on your device using secure local storage mechanisms provided by your operating system. We do not store your credentials on our servers.

Event data is cached locally on your device for up to 5 minutes to improve performance. You can clear cached data at any time through the app settings.
